As a developer I process information by categorizing, coding, calculating, and verifying data. I do this by breaking down information into separate parts and identifying underlying principles affecting the software so that I can better serve the customer. Devloping lets me take the role of creating something new, and gives me the opportunity to create something better.
As a software engineer, problem-solving is paramount. I problem solve by learning to split large complex goals into small, simpler ones. Learning to think parallel, and learning to abstract is key. I also try to consider re-using existing solutions because not everything has to be re-invented or created from scratch..
